Chatham-Kent Energy and its subsidiaries successfully operate, maintain and provide customer care related services for distribution systems related to electricity and water. Proudly serving over 40,000 customers primarily located in southwestern Ontario, Chatham-Kent Energy is owned by the Municipality of Chatham-Kent (90%) and by Corix Utilities (10%).
Due to a pending vacancy, Chatham-Kent Energy Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate of integrity, skill and commitment to serve on its Board.
The following are the types of qualifications that Chatham-Kent Energy Board is seeking in a Board member:
- Knowledge and skills in one or more areas of Board governance: policy, finance, and personnel
- Visionary with experience in corporate strategic planning and priority-setting
- Experience in providing leadership guidance and support on growth initiatives
- Willingness to serve on at least one committee of the CKE Board
The new Board member will receive a modest remuneration for their services. The new Board member will serve a term of three (3) years and may be eligible to serve on the Board for not more than (3) consecutive terms.
