Art Stirling is currently a Ward 2 Councillor for the Municipality of Chatham-Kent. Art manages government and industry affairs for Pioneer Hi-Bred Limited (DuPont Agriculture and Nutrition), a crop genetics and biotechnology company and national distributor of agricultural seed products. He serves on the board of BIOTECanada and is an active member of the Canadian Renewable Fuels Association. Art is a Past-President of The Centre for Rural Leadership and is a graduate of that organizations Advanced Agricultural Leadership Program. Art and his wife Grace reside in Blenheim with their three young children; he also has 2 grown children. In 2005 Art and Grace chaired a highly successful fundraising campaign for the United Way of Chatham-Kent.
